Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the Bulkr mobile application and the Bulkr website, together with any related features and services (the "Service").

Please read them carefully. They form an agreement between you and Bulkr ("we", "our", or "us").

1. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

By downloading, accessing or using the Bulkr app or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Your use of the Service is also covered by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND USER ACCOUNTS

  • You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Bulkr.
  • Some features require you to create an account.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login details secure.
  • You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account. Contact us if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

3. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE

Bulkr provides general information about weight gain, nutrition and fitness, including calorie targets, meal and shake suggestions and progress tracking. This information is for general informational and educational purposes only.

Bulkr is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary, or healthcare advice, diagnosis or treatment. Nothing in the Service should be treated as a substitute for professional advice.

You should consult a doctor, registered dietitian or other appropriate healthcare professional before starting any nutrition or exercise programme, especially if you are pregnant, under 18, or have any medical condition, allergy, eating disorder or are taking medication. If you feel unwell while using the Service, stop and seek medical help.

You use the information provided by Bulkr at your own risk.

4. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCEPTABLE USE

When using Bulkr, you agree not to:

  • Break any applicable law or regulation
  • Use the Service in a way that harms other users, us, or third parties
  • Copy, resell, scrape, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Upload harmful, unlawful or deliberately misleading content
  • Share your account with others or impersonate anyone else

5. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS

  • Some Bulkr features are available only through a paid subscription (Bulkr Pro).
  • Prices, billing periods and included features are shown before you confirm a purchase.
  • Where you purchase through an iOS app, payment is taken by Apple and managed through your Apple account. Renewals, cancellations and refund requests for those purchases are handled through Apple in line with Apple's terms — we cannot process them for you.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

6. FREE TRIALS

We may offer a free trial from time to time. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will start automatically and you will be charged at the price shown when you signed up.

Trial length and eligibility may vary, and we may withdraw or change trial offers at any time. Where the trial was started through Apple, cancellation is managed in your Apple account settings.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Bulkr, including the app, website, design, branding, text, graphics and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial use. You keep ownership of the content and data you enter, and you give us permission to process it so we can provide the Service to you.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Bulkr relies on trusted third parties, such as the Apple App Store for payments, RevenueCat for subscription management and Supabase for authentication and data storage.

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or for any content or links they provide.

9. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

You may stop using Bulkr at any time and can request deletion of your account.

We may suspend or close an account if these Terms are breached, if we suspect fraud or misuse, or if we are required to do so by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will let you know first.

We may also change or discontinue parts of the Service. If we withdraw a paid feature you have already paid for, we will handle it fairly.

10. DISCLAIMERS

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or that calorie estimates, food recognition or nutrition data will always be accurate or complete.

Results vary from person to person. We do not guarantee any particular weight gain, fitness or health outcome.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or any harm arising from your reliance on information provided by the Service.

Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when we add features or when the law changes.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continuing to use Bulkr after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live elsewhere, you may still have the benefit of mandatory protections under your local law.
